The existence and history of the alphabet are linked to the time 2700 BC. Legend has it that it originated with poor people who could not understand and learn Egyptian hieroglyphs. Now after 5000 years after that almost 3/4 of humanity in the world writes and speaks with it. The alphabet word originated from the first two letters A (alpha) and B (beta). The English version has 26 letters and belongs to the list of the most common variations of the alphabet.
