The existence and history of the alphabet are linked to the time 2700 BC. Legend has it that it originated with poor people who could not understand and learn Egyptian hieroglyphs. Now after 5000 years after that almost 3/4 of humanity in the world writes and speaks with it. The alphabet word originated from the first two letters A (alpha) and B (beta). As a very simple and easy to learn, more and more nations of the world accept it as their first language. Today in the world we have over 100 variations of the alphabet containing 23 to 33 letters. The English version has 26 letters and belongs to the list of the most common variations of the alphabet.
